A dramatic redesign — Apple's thinnest product ever at the time, switching to a tandem OLED "Ultra Retina XDR" display and growing from 12.9 to 13 inches. From this model on, Apple dropped generation numbers and names iPad Pro by its chip instead. OLED screen assemblies cost more to source and replace than the mini-LED panels before this one.
